Construct Europe 2024

 

Project description:
In 2024 for the first time students of 16 years old can also vote for the European elections.
It’s the ideal moment to put the European Union in the spotlight, also in our education. During the 2023-2024 school year, we would like to put extra effort into connecting and cooperating with other European countries through eTwinning.

That is why we will participate in the city festival Construct Europe 2024 organised in Mechelen, Belgium. In that context, we will set up a large eTwinning project with European partners around this theme.

Goals:

• Foster European cooperation and communication between young people and teachers.
• Gain insight into cultural differences and similarities.
• Collaborate with other learners in Europe about subject-oriented objectives within all educational levels.
• Establish cooperation around 4 pillars:

• • • Imagination
    • Debate
    • Festivities
    • Future
• Specific goals of the schoolcurriculum
• Collaborate on themes related to the different key competences.

Αctivity: Imagination: European heroes

 

During this  activity we create posters about our European and local heroes. Our students use their imagination to create lovely posters.

• To create posters we can use the digital tool Canva.
• We post the posters on our Digipad.
